Annual Flea Market
The 2011 Flea Market brought good crowds, perfect weather and an abundance of donated articles made for another successful Flea Market and Tail Gate Sale in support of the Lower Trent Trail.
Chairman, Lynn Gray reported a net profit of $900 had been raised from the annual event held again at the Station Park location. In addition to FOTT's dozen tables of sale items, seven "tail-gaters" participated adding to the variety of goods available.
"Something for everyone", said one FOTT sales person, as enthusiastic volunteers helped customers make their purchases. Along with the fundraising, FOTT also sold a number of new memberships to supporters attending the sale.
